A beautiful new dock was built on the pond at mfc, perfect for fishing or sitting and watching nature.
The sittercise program begins with stretching activities, builds up to a big more vigorous activity and follows with cool down and relaxation.
A vitaband is a six-inch-wide elastic rubber strip tied into a loop. The 30-minute class meets at 10 a.m. every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to take advantage of the exercise equipment, which includes a treadmill and two Nu-Steps.
The mfc trail system connects to the City of South Hutchinson’s trails at the back of our beautiful pond. Take a walk on the trails on a nice day!
You don’t need a heavy ball for this game. our Wii bowling provides fun and good exercise. Occasionally we compete in a Wii bowling championship.
The choir sings a variety of songs, including some holiday and spiritual. A volunteer directs the choir, which performs on special occasions and holidays.
Enjoy good food and fellowship with the monthly social, beginning at 6 p.m. on the third Thursday of the month. The evening begins with a dinner and is followed by a program.
Catch a flick on special movie times. The Fireside room has a big screen TV, so pop a bag of popcorn and join in on the fun.
The buttery treat is popped at 2 p.m. every Monday in the hobby room. Sometimes there is even caramel corn!
This is at 3 p.m. on the second Thursday of the month in the Sunnydell Dining Room. It is made up of all residents who attend and is led by an elected group of residents. Stay afterwards for snacks!
This includes the ladies’ lunch club, Dillons shopping, bus trips to adventures and more.
Worship services are offered on Sunday morning and Wednesday mornings.
