Mennonite Friendship Communities celebrates 2026 "Best Nursing Home" ranking from U.S. News and World Report!
U.S. News and World Report’s 2026 Best Nursing Homes ratings evaluate nearly 15,000 U.S. skilled nursing facilities, recognizing few than 19% as “Best Nursing Homes” in short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, or both.
Mennonite Friendship Communities received this award in 2026.
Mennonite Friendship Communities receives certificate and KDADS visit for "deficiency-free survey"!

A deficiency-free survey is a rare and significant achievement for a Kansas assisted-living facility. In August 2026, Mennonite Friendship Communities was awarded a certificate and a visit from Commissioner Lacey Hunter of Kansas Department for Aging and Disability services. This award reflects full compliance with state regulations, and demonstrates that the facility met or exceeded all required standards for resident care, safety, and service quality.
Lacey toured our assisted-living area and presented the deficiency-free certificate with employees present. We are thankful for the many staff and residents who work together to make an award like this possible.
