Home Health - Stay Home Longer

Friendship House and Home provides home health, housekeeping and dining services for mfc residents who live independently.  Personal care services are delivered in the privacy of the resident’s home.

Nursing services include these and others:

  • Wound care and dressing changes
  • Trim toenails
  • Blood pressure checks
  • Insulin preparation
  • TED hose application & removal
  • Medication set-up
  • Lab draws for blood work
  • Injections
  • Eye drops administration

Home health aide visits include these and other services:

  • Bathing / shower assistance
  • Dressing
  • Vital signs checks

Wellness checks are available, helping a resident feel secure in their home. Nursing staff responds to resident health emergencies 24 hours a day. Personal care services are provided by licensed nurses and certified nurse aides.

The Home Health agency is licensed with the appropriate state certifying body.

A variety of dining and housekeeping services are also available for an additional fee.

Lunch is served in the Sunnydell Dining Room every day at noon.
