Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. Our volunteers are men, women and young adults whose time and talent add to the quality of life for our residents.


Volunteers participate in a variety of activities:


    Deliver mail and newspapers

    Read to residents

    Pop and serve popcorn

    Serve ice cream on Friday afternoons

    Assist with manicures

    Lead a Ladies or Men's coffee hour

    One on one visits with residents

    Call Bingo

    Assist with holiday decorating

    Assist with special activities

    Provide clerical support

    Escort residents to appointments

    Assist Transportation Services

    Tend live plants indoors or outdoors

    Arrange a service projects group

    Make comforters for health care residents

    Volunteer to lead an event at the Annual Benefit Day
